Osteopathic Medicine

As osteopaths physicians, we have both attended 4 years of medical school and completed additional training beyond that to become certified. Our training and practice also involves osteopathic manual therapy and adjustments to neck, back, pelvis, hips, sacrum, ribs, and more. Correction of structure improves function, and osteopathic treatment strategies are aimed not only at optimal musculoskeletal alignment and blood flow, but also lymphatic flow, and balance of the autonomic nervous system. Additionally, the heart of a true osteopath is concerned with more than just the body. This philosophy lends itself to a whole person concept that cherishes wellness in the body, mind, and spirit.
